Jabetown Mill opened in 1962 to supply local tobacco and dairy farms, both of which were prevalent at the time. Additions, upgrades and changes have been made periodically. In 1981 a major addition with new mill machinery was built that continues to have the best mill in the area for custom mixed batches of horse and cattle feed. Nevertheless, plans have been made to upgrade this facility to be able to continue to be the premier feed source in this area. |
